Enhanced Security Measures at Kenton Eco Estate
Security at Kenton Eco Estate has been significantly enhanced with the appointment of Starlight as our new security provider. State-of-the-art facial recognition cameras have been installed, and we encourage all out of town residents who may be in the area, to call in and register for this feature. This will ensure a seamless and contactless sign-in for future visits to the Estate.
The ATG (At The Gate) Digital System is a smart access and visitor management tool which provides real-time visitor date authentication, including vehicle and driver’s licenses, in compliance with POPIA regulations. The customisable mobile gate access control system ensures a seamless experience for residents, visitors, employees and management alike, while prioritising the security of our people and data.
Visitor registration is simplified with pre-registration and instant notification is received on incidents, arrivals and more. Unauthorised or unwanted individuals can be flagged and blocked.
How to Set Up and Manage Access with the ATG App
how to register a visitor
- Select the Registered Tab to Register a Visitor
- Select the Plus to Add New
- Select your Category/Visitor
- Complete Name and Surname (or select from Contacts)
- Type in your unit number
- Select Create
how to Send an invitation
- Select Send sign next to Code
- Select Send Link
- Select how you want to send the link – WhatsApp/SMS etc
- Send to your visitor
How to register a Domestic Worker / Contractor
- Select the Registered Tab to register a Domestic or Contractor
- Select the Plus to Add New
- Select your Category (Domestic or Contractor)
- Complete Name and Surname (or select from Contacts)
- Add ID Number for Domestic
- Type in your Unit Number
- For Contractor – Type in Company Name
- For Domestic – Take a photo (Facial Reader requirement) and select Create

To further strengthen perimeter patrols, new motorbikes have been purchased for guards, while the contractors’ entrance now boasts a brand-new guardhouse. The main gatehouse interior has been freshly painted, and the surrounding water tanks have been beautified with aloe plantings, ensuring both functionality and a warm welcome.
