Our recent collaboration with the senior class of Bushwillow Primary School for a beach clean-up exemplifies these values in action.
A Day of Action and Learning
On a bright and breezy morning, the senior class of Bushwillow Primary School arrived at Kenton Eco Estate, eager and ready to make a difference. Armed with our upcycled Beach Clean Up Bags, these young eco-warriors set out to clean our beaches. The bags, crafted from upcycled denim scraps by Jo Styles of The Market Traders Store, are a testament to our commitment to sustainability and reducing waste. These bags are not only practical but also symbolic of our dedication to reducing, reusing, and recycling.
Making an Impact
The students diligently collected litter, filling their bags with discarded items that had washed ashore. It was heartening to see their enthusiasm and commitment to keeping our beaches beautiful. Their efforts not only helped to remove a significant amount of waste but also raised awareness about the importance of maintaining clean, healthy environments.
